Jino Murad is founder and Creative Director of Jino Design, a boutique interior design house based in Primrose Hill, London.
Specializing in high-end urban chic, Jino Design was established in 2013 and has already built a strong client-base and project portfolio, driven by the reputation and experience of its founder.
From a young age Jino was always fascinated with art and design, and the interaction between colour, light, pattern and texture. This passion led to Jino pursuing a career in interior design, which started with her studying the subject at the London Guildhall University, where she gained a BA Honours degree in 2004. During her time at university, Jino also won a number of summer internships at famous London design houses, which gave her the perfect platform to begin her career.
Since graduation ten years ago, Jino has worked at some of the top London and UAE interior design houses, where she has carried out a significant number of large international high-end residential and commercial projects. Most recently, she was senior interior designer at The Studio in Harrods before deciding to start up her own business – Jino Design. Jino Design offers a range of services including interior design & fit-out, furniture sourcing, bespoke furniture design & build, and design consultancy. Jino Design’s studio is located in bohemian-chic Primrose Hill: it is Jino’s creative hub, perfect for designing and client meetings alike.
“My design style is characterized by my love of unique and rare finishing, which I source individually for each project to deliver perfectly bespoke interiors for my clients. I’m passionate about creating unique interiors that reflect the client’s life journey. My idea of perfect interior design is when you can walk into a property and instantly understand the client’s life, love and passion. I love to design eclectically with no pre-defined boundaries, using elements from different periods, eras and styles that come together harmoniously to create the perfect environment for living and loving life”.
